Hi, Shailee! How long have you been a member of the Poly Ad Ohana?
I have been working at Poly Ad for one year.
What does the Aloha Spirit mean to you?
Well to me, the Aloha spirit is everyone makeing you feel at home – no matter what. We love our ohana(family), We love everything we do, no one gets left behind or forgotten; whether you’re blood or not, family is family. We welcome you to come and visit our islands as we share the aloha spirit with you, and hope that its an experience you’ll never forget.
What is your favorite Hawaiian story?
The story they portray at Luau Kalamaku is my favorite Hawaiian legend and story told through theater and dance.
What is your favorite local food? Where is the best place to eat it or to buy it??
Definitely Koloa Fish Market for Kalua pork and their Lau-lau Plate Lunch. If you’re looking for the best Saimin in Hawai’i you have to go to Hamura Saimin, and everyone agrees that some of the best poke in Hawai’i is from the Foodland in Kapa’a.
