Start your day in paradise ascending 10,000 feet above sea level atop of Maui's dormant volcano, Mount Haleakala. The crown jewel of Maui's unforgettable landscape, Mt. Haleakala means "House of the Sun" in Hawaiian lore and is quite impressive to view from all over the island. Renown for its raw beauty and unique scenery, Haleakala National Park, the Visitor Center and Pu`u Ula`ula Overlook will delight and amaze you. On some days where the weather permits it, you will also be able to see some of the neighbor islands, and of course, miles of the beautiful Pacific Ocean surrounding you.
